About Me

I’m Hywel Taylor, a UK‑based photographer with a lifelong passion for image‑making. My journey began with an analogue SLR in my teenage years, and rediscovering photography through digital cameras has allowed me to create work I could never have achieved back then.

I’m especially drawn to wildlife - the challenge, the unpredictability, and the privilege of witnessing animals in their own world. I also enjoy working across a range of photographic styles, always aiming to capture atmosphere and emotion.
